Hilarious and entertaining
Definitely not your typical zombie flick. Lot's of local humour that many Singaporeans can relate to especially the NS men. Thoroughly enjoyed it with the family.
We had a pretty good time at this zomcom. The bite marks and wounds were gruesome. The zombies are fast moving and look pissed off, kind of like the typical Singaporean keyboard warrior. All in, the outbreak is realistic and not at all unlikely to occur.. . Oh the name of the soldier lying on the stretcher is.. stinking good
Wasn’t expecting the quality I seen in this movie for a local production. Effort in the plot and cinematography. My family loves it, keep up the good work!!!
Zombies already exist in Singapore, just look around you! But anyway, for the bashing it'll definitely get, it was a pretty entertaining film for me. It had shades of I am a Hero, the Japanese zombie film that was obviously much better executed, but zombiepura wasnt too shabby to be honest. There was plenty of local references to laugh at and parts to get slightly nervous about. Just leave your brains at home so the zombies can't get them and you'll enjoy it.
A healthy amount of blood and gore. Cool prosthetic special effects makeup. My biggest lesson is that I now have the skills to survive an actual zombie apocalypse! Lols.
The soundtrack is still ringing in my head. When I heard the chorus of zombiepura... I was like... Wtf is this for real? I am still confused by it. First time I see local film making fun of itself non stop. Very funny film if u are the humorous type into British satire. More for folks into comedy than horror. It is... Proudly b grade and that scene of that flag is omg over the top.
