Love rain , the music is great and I bet all otakus will love this movie . I think it's better than Kimi No Nawa in the sense that the graphics are far superior
Like all Shinkai films, this movie was an absolute masterpiece. The sound design was perfect, the scenes were drawn to detail, and the music has once again proven that Radwimps does a beautiful job at capturing the mood and feels of the scenes. People compare it to Shinkai's last film, Kimi No Na Wa, but this movie is magnificent in its own way. I highly recommend it to both waters of anime, or first-time anime viewers. This was my first anime film, and it has inspired me to check out others.
A little on the slow side in the beginning for me. However, it might be due to leaving room for characters to develop. Other than that, the movie was a great one and really touching one. Still prefer your name though!
I was expecting quite alot honestly and sadly the storyline was quite disappointing. It wasn’t terrible but I had higher expectations for the film. Visuals and music from the animation is beautiful as always but I don’t understand the storyline and hype for this movie.
