One word which keeps popping up in reviews about this movie is “raw”. I don’t disagree, but I believe refined is a much better description. The director has painstakingly looked into almost every minute detail in this movie to make it a pure and immersive experience. Only the best movies can make you feel as if you are in the scene itself, and Vada Chennai is exactly that.
Terrific set of actors who bring them alive on screen. Aishwarya Rajesh is such a natural performer. The writing is breathtaking and the performance exemplary.
