Another great story by Keigo Higashino! With just a hint of time travel, comedy, and many moments where you would feel just a bit more for the characters, this movie left me constantly sniffing and tearing up (happy and sad moments combined). Definitely a must watch for those who love Keigo's stories!
Expect no big stars, no grand scenes, nor blockbuster special effects. This is good storytelling at its simplest truest form. The story starts out in a plain manner, but before you can start yawning, you are slowly drawn into the world of the general store and the characters whose lives come to be connected due to their interaction with the store... If you want to be touched by a good story, catch this movie. It may not be totally realistic, but then every movie has its fair bit of “make believe” segments, just enjoy it for what it is. :)
