Synopsis

Despite being a burnt-out "seen-it-all deputy sheriff", Deke`s ability to notice even the smallest details is as sharp as ever. The Kern County, CA deputy sheriff is then paired up with crack LASD detective, Baxter, to capture a serial killer. While Baxter finds Deke`s nose for the little things useful especially when it comes to collecting clues, the man`s willingness to sidestep the rules leaves Baxter in a dilemma. Unknown to the younger man, Deke is wrestling with a dark secret. Their different approaches in the investigation soon lead to the clashes between the two of them.
