Fantastic performances most notably by Awkwafina, now a Golden Globe winner. Awkwafina is believably somber as the conflicted Billi, uncomfortable with the lie but unwilling to act against her family’s consensus. Every aspect of the film is stunning from the visuals and performances to the score.
