BEST Korean War movie ever!!
Love the cast! Story line got me all worked up. Very pitiful coal miners in hellish living conditions. Much worst of are the comfort women in that era. Worst off than slaves, they were badly bullied, raped and then murdered. Inhumane Very brutal. Friendship, love and patriotism is the part which makes you love this movie. Must watch for all So JiSub, Song JoongKi and Hwang JungMin fans. Great acting!!
This show is brilliant it show the thing human would do to survive and it is based on a true story. It show is how ugly we can be but it also show is how strong we can also become. Everyone go and see it because of Song Joong ki but I believe everyone who have seen it will agree with me that the real star is Hwang Jung Min. His performance is simply brilliant

Everything was perfect. The actors/actresses, the plot, the actions, the effects. Still goes oon in my head till next day aft watching this. And we learn alot through this movie.
Based on historical facts but characters are fictional. Good director, actors, and intense story. The sites, scenes, and sound effect good. The final escape is breath-taking.
