Synopsis

It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies-everyone but the Teen Titans, that is. But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line.

Funny

I'm not the greatest fan of the DC universe, however this movie is very funny. It has witty jokes and great animation and an odd plot however, everything flows well.

Tons of meta-humor with funny childish bits.

Colorful team of superheroes fuel the adventure. It pokes fun at every superhero convention in the book. I like the funny fart jokes.

References Galore

Overall: 4

Teen Titans Go! follows in the footsteps of LEGO Batman but doesn’t fully hit the mark. With that said, it is still a fun time and might actually be the 2nd best DC Film so far. It is an entertaining that is full of references and it would especially be fun for a DC Comic Fan. Fun time for kids, good family movie. Recommended to watch!

I can't say that I was drawn to the art, having been used to the standard teen titans cartoons. But it's still a pretty interesting movie and I was impressed by the humour!

A super hilarious movie!

I laughed from the beginning to the end of the movie. It was way funnier than I thought and very in line with the tv series plot style and characterizations. A must watch for kids who are already fans of the tv series. And a very enjoyable movie for the accompanying parents and adults to laugh out loud during this movie outing with their kids!
