Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, a sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man and the twentieth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). 

The film is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War and follows Scott Lang as he tries to rebalance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man. However, he is confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission, requiring him to team up and learn to fight alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past.

Directed by Peyton Reed, who returns from Ant-Man (2015), Ant-Man and the Wasp stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Michael Pena, and several new characters including Michelle Pfeiffer (Murder on the Orient Express) as the original Wasp Janet van Dyne, Laurence Fishburne (John Wick 2) as Pym’s old friend Bill Foster and British newcomer Hannah John-Kamen as the villainous Ghost.
