"Lulu The Movie" is based on Singapore's favourite PRC character starring the hilarious Michelle Chong in the TV satirical news series The Noose. The movie follows Lulu from her journey as a fresh-of-the-boat PRC in Singapore looking for love as a feisty KTV hostess, learning English, and being discovered by a TV station, to becoming a globe-trotting fashionista.
The movie is written and directed by Michelle Chong, whose comic genius has created many lovable and popular characters, not least the endearing Lulu that everyone has come to root for.
