Based on the true story of Lizzie Borden, who was accused of murdering her father and stepmother in 1892. The movie follows Lizzie as she lives a quiet life in Massachusetts under her father`s strict rules. She finds a kindred spirit in Bridget, the live-in maid. Their friendship turns into romance but as tension mounts in the Borden household, the chance intimacy blossoms into a wicked plan and leads to a violent breaking point.
