Synopsis

An Austrian officer, Otto von Oettingen, kills Hungarian aristocrat and supreme horse trainer Sandor Blaskovich, leaving his son Ernő orphaned. Ernő has to move to a poor labourer`s cottage while Otto and his daughter Klara take over the Blaskovich castle. Wanting revenge, Ernő purchases a horse, Kincsem, years later and trains it to become a champion so that he can regain his family home.
