Synopsis

KGF Chapter 1 is a period movie set in the Kolar Gold Fields ,from the celebrated director Prasanth Neel (maker of the blockbuster Ugramm). It is the first instalment in the two-part series. In the late 70’s the war between U.S.A and Russia tore the world apart and nearly led to a Third World War. Prices of most commodities went up. Including and especially the price of GOLD. Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) was the biggest mining reserve in India. What if this could be controlled by ONE man? The movie traverses the life of this man from his birth , his rise, his love, exploring what his destiny decides and his immense thirst for power.
