A Philadelphian philanthropist is guilt-ridden after causing his friends` death in a car crash while he narrowly escaped the same fate. In an attempt to overcome his suffering, he inserts himself into the lives of his late friend`s expecting daughter and her new husband. While charming and resourceful, he does intrude as he tries to micromanage the couple.
