A remake of the 1981 film by Sam Raimi, about five college students, while vacationing in an isolated cabin in a wooded area, find an audiotape, which contains incantations from The Book of the Dead spoken by a scientist, unwittingly resurrecting malevolent demons and spirits. Now it is up to Ashley Ash J. Williams, to deal with the deadites and save his friends.
