Synopsis

Presented as a collection of eight vignettes representing a dream or vision from director Akira Kurosawa himself, the film is an introspective journey into the mind of the auteur. These segments explore various themes such as nature, war, art, and mortality. The dreams range from a young boy witnessing a fox wedding in a sunlit forest, to a post-apocalyptic world devastated by nuclear fallout.
