Synopsis

Upon the disappearance and brutal killing of 14-year-old Margaret Larkin, the tiny town of Babylon becomes shrouded by mystery, wondering who the killer might be. Nathan Redfield, the estranged son of a well-known town banker, keeps mum and blames his crime on a high school principal who is not favoured by the townsmen. However, he soon becomes haunted by the ghost of his victim and those who have died in the same river that Margaret was thrown into. Seeing the changes in him, his sadistic father James proceeds to use Nathan`s guilt and mental instability to control his every move, with the end goal of pushing him to kill again.
