The plot is really interesting and I guess comparable to Singapore's context, especially since exams are so important here and it brings across how desperate ppl can get for grades. And there's real issues like whether studying or money really gets you to where you want, and is trying hard really enough to achieve your goals? Very cool and very real questions! Never really watched a Thai movie before but this really opened my eyes. Excited for more movies by the team behind Bad Genius!
The concept of Bad Genius is a refreshing original! It plays towards the audiences in the South East Asian region and hits closer to home on the darker side of education, expectations and the struggle to achieve. Bad Genius keeps you on the edge of your seat without being a thriller, a horror, an action film, nor a sci-fi!
