Synopsis

Don Lope de Aguirre, a ruthless and insane Spanish conquistador, who leads a group of soldiers down the Amazon River in search of the mythical city of El Dorado. As the journey progresses, Aguirre’s obsession with power and gold drives him to madness and destruction.
