Based on the memoir of former Olympic hockey player Eric LeMarque, the movie tells of LeMarque`s struggle after being stranded in the High Sierras following a fierce snowstorm. Trapped with no way out for eight days on the mountain, LeMarque must face his personal demons and utilise his wit to survive.
