Synopsis

TPO (Temporary Protection Order) is a cautionary tale on domestic abuse that examines the lives of a small family victimized by it. After a night of beating, Teresa seeks a TPO from the court to protect herself and her child from abusive husband Miguel. But in this legal tug-of-war of familial rights, their son is ignored.  Just like our legal system, the film slowly unravels their story.
