Synopsis

Meng Francisco is a 10-year-old who loves one thing: patintero. Unfortunately, she is the worst patintero player in the neighborhood, earning her the title of patalo (loser). Determined to prove that she's more than that title, she assembles an unlikely team of losers to compete in the grandest patintero stage of them all: the lnter-baranggay Sportsfest. Joined by the weird yet well-meaning new kid Shifty Alvarez, her blunt best friend Nicay Chiu, and the enigmatic urban vigilante Z-boy, Meng will train, bleed, and pull out all the stops to get a taste of victory—and what she ends up doing becomes the stuff legends are made of.
