Synopsis

A fairy story, Seven is a story about the power of words. About how a person can hurt somebody with a word, a slander or a lie, and about how important it is to use words carefully, because they can be as dangerous as weapons or evil magic. It is also a story about love, courage and patience, which can help to overcome the power of evil words and magic.
The story is based on a classic fairy story by Bozena Nemcova, just extended by a few more lines.
The story begins with the family of a baker who has seven sons. During one hot afternoon when the baker´s wife is trying hard to finish a batch of loaves, her sons keep getting in her way. The mother loses her patience and, in anger, shouts out the fatal words: “I wish you were ravens!“ And because her wish was spoken in true anger, the boys immediately change into ravens and fly away from their unhappy mother.
