Synopsis

Based on the true story of Dutch born, US raised Antonia Brico who was the first female conductor. Nobody takes her ambition seriously because she is a woman and everyone around her discourages her to follow her passion. Because of her incredible perseverance she becomes the first woman to conduct the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. But emotional strain threatens to overwhelm her, when the love of her life puts her in a difficult position. What choice will Antonia make?
