“Malaysia Boleh”
A local vigilant action movie by Astro Shaw. Joel Soh, the producer, director and screenwriter of "Polis Evo", again take up his old job with full force. This time, the film was jointly directed by Joel Soh and Andre Chiew, still starring by Malaysia best actor Shaheizy Sam and famous male star Zizan Razak. The film tells about the cooperation of police officers Sani and Khai on a remote island on the east coast. It happened to meet a group of terrorists led by Hafsyam Jauhari and occupied the island. The atmosphere and situation on the island became tense. Sani and 200 hostages were detained by terrorists while Khai was trapped in the village area. Khai later united with a undercover police officer from Indonesia, and several members of the special forces sent by the Malaysian government to carry out the rescue operations. . . In year 2015, when "Polis Evo" was launched, the trend was fierce, it breaking the Malaysian Chinese Box office that created by Malaysian Chinese movie "The Journey" in year 2014. This time, only on the first day of the screening, it achieved a record of 3.5 million, and the trend is still pretty. In addition to the two protagonists, I was deeply impressed by the performance of many actors in the film, such as Raline Shah, who plays the Indonesian female undercover police officer; Hasnul Rahmat, who plays the terrorist leader, and Erra Fazira, who plays the senior police officer of Malaysia with “Datuk” title and so on, each of them is superb. In terms of stories, the progress is smooth, the plot is compact, the action scenes, the firepower is fully open, and it can only be said that "there is no best, only better." Gunfire and shells are used in an unbeatable manner, and they are absolutely comparable to the best Hong Kong action movies! In just two months, following “Paskal,” another local action movie that bring my attention . All I can say is “Malaysia Boleh”
