Synopsis

Pirate Brothers tells the story of Sunny (Robin Shou) an orphan who loses his biological brother at a tender age, but who then “adopts” a new younger brother, Verdy and guides him through life at the orphanage before they are separated – more by Sunny’s honorable intentions than by cruel fate.
Destined for a different path and separated by fate, their lives cross again when Verdy, now successful and wealthy, is kidnapped by pirates during a holiday with his fiancé. The pirates’ intentions become clear: it’s not ransom they want, but the death of Verdy and the industrial secret he possesses. Things turn for the worse when, after years of separation, one of the leaders of the pirates is none other than Sunny, and the two brothers square off using their fighting skills on the high seas.
Pirate Brothers is packed with “in your face” action sequences, mixed with a story of brotherly love and sense of betrayal before the thrilling ending resolves the age-old tension between the forces of good and evil.
