Synopsis

Hailing from a long line of labourers living on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Rangasamy yearns to own a piece of land that he can farm himself and make a living from it. After years of dedicated labour and service to the local communist party, Rangasamy is finally able to purchase his own land. However, he soon learns that buying a land is only half the battle for poor people like him, prospering from it amidst the corrupt dealings of the wealthy is a far greater struggle.
