Synopsis

Lucia moves to the US from Mexico with her two young sons in hopes of a better life for them. As she works outside, the two boys, Max, 8, and Leo, 5, spend most of their time in their tiny apartment listening to an old tape recorder holding tapes Lucia had recorded, including stories of her life, etiquette tips, and English lessons. They listen to these tapes over and over again as they dream about their mother`s far-off promise of one day taking them to visit Disneyland.
