Overall, not as good as Felix Chong’s "Project Gutenberg" last year.
An anti-corruption suspense film directed by Felix Chong and directed by Alan Mak. The film tells of the smog mystery caused by a serious illegal domestic bribery case that has been investigated by the ICAC for many years. In this case, the accused Chen Chaoqun absconded and the only important witness and reporter Xu Zhizhen was absent from the court, causing the court to order a one-week review. The ICAC also took this time to conduct a full investigation. As for the case leader Chen Jingci and the investigation officer who is looking for witnesses, Jiang Xueer was originally a loving couple of the ICAC. Now he has separated and has to work together to solve the mystery of one after another. . . The cast is strong, except for the three protagonists, Lau Cheng-Wan, Nick Cheung and Lam Kar Yan. Other guest performers or actors are Anita Yuen, Alex Fong, Carlos Chan, Tong Yee, Lok Ying Kwan, Hugo Ng, Deep Ng, Lin Wei, etc. Although they are all good actor or actress, But acting seems to have not been tested. Although the story of this film is slow but the overall structure and layout are really good. The investigation process of the ICAC was full of smoke and darkness, but the ending was disappointed. Overall, not as good as Felix Chong’s "Project Gutenberg" last year.
