Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) is Malaysia’s largest cinema operator with 35 cinemas housing more than 350 screens, including Southeast Asia’s biggest multiplex. Founded in 1988, GSC remains one of the most popular movie destinations among moviegoers and has continually raised the bar of cinema experience with the introduction of THX, Dolby Atmos, Gold Class and Premiere features.

In 2007, GSC opened GSC Signature, Malaysia’s first boutique cinema that offers luxurious facilities and personalised services beyond regular commercial halls. Its other significant milestones over the years include the launch of GSC Lite, a sub-brand for modest cinema entertainment in smaller towns, and becoming the first cinema operator to introduce the country’s first D-BOX motion seats.
