Amazing
First Man is a riveting story of one of the monumental events in the history of the world. It explores deeper inside into the personal sacrifices and cost paid by Armstrong to make "that's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind".
For film, actor, actress, script, director, cinematography, production and etc. The mission to moon's back story at its best. The emotion and stress is for all to see.
An interesting space exploration themed movie that explores more on the human side of the astronauts and family members - especially Neil Armstrong's dysfunctional family.
This is a must watch movie as there are so much mystery and questions regarding the space travel and Armstrong. I am truly impressed after I watch the movie with my son. The dedication and efforts put to make the impossible possible.
8.5/10 no words for the director who brought us Whiplash and La La Land. This really deserves the Oscar. The acting was superb, music score is just great as La La Land and the story does really give an impact on the audience.
Has always want to watch this movie since the trailer is released and this movie definitely lives up to my expectation! A great portray of Neil Armstrong's journey of life!
The wave of three-fold mission to the moon is so real
First Man is the film that focus on the life of American legendary astronaut Neil Armstrong. It focusing on the process of becoming the first moon-going man in human history between 1961 and 1969, as well as the most dangerous exploration of the universe in this history. Unimaginable state and individual sacrifices on the journey. The film is based on James R. Hansen's biography "First Man: The Life Of Neil A. Armstrong." Although the process of exploring the spirit of the universe is a bit boring, the progressing is also super slow, but this wave of three-fold mission to the moon is so real until the audience are holding their breath. The cost behind the successful landing of the moon actually sacrifices many astronauts who may not be concerned by the world. It is not easy to sigh as the "first person". In addition to the hard work, he must endure the pain of losing his comrades and family! After many frustrations and failures, the hero has stood up again and again. This strength and spirit is extremely awesome, and every rise means a step closer to the goal of human landing on the moon. Of course, half of the film's good reputation can be attributed to the well-performing male and female protagonists, Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy. This film is a close to the real science biography, and friends who are looking forward to stimulating the tension sci-fi plot can skip it
