Ringkasan

Spacecraft, Starship Avalon, in its 120-year journey to a distant colony planet known as the "Homestead Colony" and carrying 5,259 people had damage on its two bedrooms. As a result of two premature hibernation pods open and two people were awakened, Jim Preston (Chris Pratt) and Aurora Dunn (Jennifer Lawrence), who were stranded on a spacecraft, still 90 years from their goal.
