Synopsis

During a train journey, Abi feels deep resentment toward her mother for personal reasons. Consumed by anger, she vents to fellow passengers and on a call with a friend. Muthu Kumar, the train conductor, notes her disdain and senses a communication breakdown between Abi and her mother. Muthu engages Abi in conversation, sharing stories from his travels that reveal the complexities of familial love. He recounts a mother`s sacrifices, a son`s realization of his mother`s unwavering support, and a daughter`s poignant farewell to her ailing mother. Each tale gradually softens Abi`s hardened heart. By the journey`s end, she reflects on her relationship with her mother. The layers of hatred begin to fade as she recognizes the enduring love that remains. Overwhelmed with emotion, she picks up her phone and, with tears in her eyes, calls her mother to express her feelings.
